Nice to meet you!
For Falynn Santoli animals have been a lifelong passion. Ever since she found a way to combine her childhood love of dogs with a professional career, she has felt a daily sense of fulfillment!
Falynn got her start at North Shore Animal League, the world’s largest no-kill shelter. While pursuing her masters in Animal Behavior she was exposed to, and worked with, thousands of dogs. Excessive fear, aggression, unruly behavior, and typical puppyhood- she’s seen it all. Falynn had the pleasure of working with, and learning from, a team of likeminded force free trainers.
In January 2016 Falynn's home-life and work-life merged; she now happily lives with Rosie the rescue dog. Rosie was being rehabilitated in the pet behavior office at North Shore Animal League, and suffered from severe fearfulness. When Rosie and Falynn met, Rosie was completely avoidant of people, chose to hide in her crate at all times, and panicked when taken outside. While she enjoys working with dogs of all behavioral backgrounds, Falynn has a soft spot for the fearful dogs. Rosie quickly won a place in her heart. After a foster home fell through Rosie came to stay with her for “just a week” until a more permanent home came about- and the rest is history! Falynn watched as Rosie blossomed from the dog who growled at her husband every time he entered a room for months, to the dog that ran around the house celebrating and giving kisses when he returned home from work. She understands first hand what it is like to live with a dog with behavioral issues, and can apply her personal experience, as well as her professional knowledge, to help your household restore peace.
After moving to Florida in January of 2017 she began work as a private trainer, dog walker, and pet sitter. She continues to find joy in her ability to help owners better understand their dogs and achieve goals they never thought possible. Her background in psychology and extensive experience in the field has helped her to best understand her clients' concerns and explain how to create a harmonious household for both the owners and dogs. Falynn is a proud neighbor of the area she services, and happily adopted her family’s second dog, Kermit, from a local shelter in November of 2018. Anyone who knows her has heard her gush that she has the world’s greatest clients, and is truly doing what she loves!
